Sunday is one of my favorite days of the week. Not only is it a day of relaxation because normally I don’t have much work to do, but the Farmers market is in town! I like to go to the Melrose Place Farmers Market on Melrose Place. It’s not overcrowded like the Hollywood one and they have great fresh flowers, organic fruits and veggies, and freshly made juices! It was really hot today, 90 degrees fahrenheit so I was sweating! Good thing I took off my extensions because that would cause me to be even more hot!
Lately I have been rocking the no extension look! I’ve been just wearing my natural hair length and curling it and creating a side part! I do feel it is making me look more refreshing and not being weighed down by my huge hair and I love it! It is just way too hot these days to wear my extensions!
My blue maxi dress is cotton and hip hugging but it is also really comfortable! I got it from AMI Clubwear! I love maxi dresses a lot and summertime it’s the best way to still be girly and glam, but classy so you don’t look slutty. My shoes are my Goosebump Napa Stuart Weitzman Nudist Shoe and my sunglasses are Tom Ford Carola’s. My bag is the Chanel Mini Boy Bag, as usual, my go-to favorite purse ever! Summer time is so fun because I can bring out my brighter-colored outfits! Usually I stick to the neutral colors but I am glad today I busted out the blue dress! I got a juice from Juicy Rover, I got the GO, which had sweet potato, strawberry, ginger, and apple. It was so delicious!!
Then I stopped by Lady M Cake Boutique to pick up a cake for my friend’s party! If you have never heard of Lady M, you definitely have to stop by, it’s one of the best bakeries here in L.A., and they have french-Japanese inspired cakes. Some of the popular cakes are, the Green Tea, Red Velvet, Strawberry Shortcake, and the Crepe cake! They are layered cakes and super intricate, literally the presentation is immaculate! A bit on the pricier side, two cakes for $181.00 but so worth it for the decor and the taste!
After that, I ran home to put my roses in a vase and put my fruits and veggies in the fridge. Now off I go! I hope you guys are having a wonderful Sunday! I love you all!
