Finding the words to describe the flurry of emotions evolving in the last few weeks is difficult, but there is one thing everyone can agree on: the world feels heavy right now. Our hearts go out to all of the beautiful black souls that have had to face prejudice and a society that has oppressed and under appreciated their lives for centuries.
It has been a time of awakening, and a time to admit that we have room for growth as a society. We are excited to stand as allies for this cause. Whether you are educating yourselves through reading material, marching in a peaceful protest, speaking loudly on social media, or having tough conversations with friends and family, we commend you for standing up for what’s right. Thank you for joining the Black Lives Matter conversation with us.

So, whatever part you may be, we hope you see the importance in making yourself an active supporter of the black community. This is truly a movement where solidarity is the strongest method, and everyone is responsible for doing their part.
We also realize the importance of committing to these efforts now and forever, far past the media cycles. Every few weeks, expect a new blog post highlighting creators, businesses, and organizations to support.
To begin, education and donations are an important step, and we thought we’d share some great resources to get started.
