Hi, I’m Arika Sato and I live in Los Angeles, CA. Some of you reading this might know of me or have seen some of my silly YouTube videos, or maybe you have no idea who I am and you just stumbled upon this blog! As you read more of my posts, you will get to know me, well, at least some parts of me.
I was born in Torrance, CA from two loving parents who are both from Tokyo & Yokohama, Japan. So, that makes me Japanese-American! I have an older brother, who is married to my lovely sister-in-law, and recently their son was born, so I have a nephew now! I can speak, read, and write Japanese, but English is my first language! Currently I live in the West Hollywood area and I have lived here the past four years! 🙂 I attended the University of California, San Diego and graduated with my B.A. in Communications and Japanese Studies. I finished college in three years and moved back to L.A. where my heart belongs! I then attended the University of Southern California and graduated with my Master’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism.
I never went the traditional route to work for a news station or a newspaper. Instead, I blogged, and vlogged A LOT! What you might get from this blog is that I am really into fashion, glamour and the fabulous life, but what I am hoping to also share is that I am a huge lover of friendships, relationships and most of all, family. I initially created this blog ArikaSato.com in hopes of doing the Hollywood thing, being an actress/model/host/or a Kardashian. But, I have other aspirations now. I hope to connect with all of you from around the world through my writing, photos, and videos. I want to share with all of you things that I’ve learned about in my life experiences, whether it be about beauty, health, fitness, or break-ups. I created this blog, not for me, but for others to gain a little bit of inspiration, even if it’s just an outfit idea or a lip color, or what to say to your boyfriend! If I can help in any way, feel free to ask me questions. I am in no way an expert, but if I can help, I will!
Love you all, and I totes mean it,
